We stock a growing number of quality literacy teaching resources for schools and teachers, including home schoolers, who are responsible for teaching literacy skills to young children. The good news? They work! Practical and educational, these products are developed by Barbara Brann and include the well-known adventurer, Casey the Caterpillar. They’re here to help teachers and children access literacy in ways that are fun and make sense.

Having worked as a teacher, I understand the difficulties around identifying and meeting the specific literacy needs of individuals and groups within the classroom and the school. Taking an integrated approach, I’m committed to bringing wisdom back to the teaching and learning of literacy skills.

Why Literacy Adventure?

Because learning is meant to be fun!

As teachers and carers, we want to do the right thing by our kids when it comes to literacy. Often, though, we get lost along the way. Literacy Adventure is about re-orienting the learning journey so it’s as richly rewarding for teachers as it is inspiring for the young kids we teach.
